1. Introduction

The Builders Hub ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform.

By using The Builders Hub, you consent to the data practices described in this policy. If you do not agree with our policies, please do not use our Service.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

  • Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, company name, and password when you register
  • Profile Information: Job title, profile photo, and business details
  • Property Data: Listings, communities, floorplans, images, and pricing information you upload
  • Communications: Messages, support requests, and feedback you send us
  • Payment Information: Billing address and payment method details (processed by our payment providers)

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, time spent on the platform
  • Device Information: Browser type, operating system, device identifiers
  • Log Data: IP address, access times, referring URLs
  • Cookies: Session cookies, preference cookies, and analytics cookies

2.3 Information from Third Parties

  • CRM Data: Information synced from integrated CRM systems (HubSpot, Lasso)
  • Authentication: Profile information from OAuth providers if you use social login
  • Analytics: Aggregated data from analytics providers
  • Calendar providers: If a business connects its Google Calendar or Microsoft calendar to ForgeHome, we access that calendar on its behalf as described in section 2.4

2.4 Google Calendar and Other Connected Calendars

A business using ForgeHome may connect a Google Calendar (or, when available, a Microsoft calendar) so that appointments booked through ForgeHome appear on the calendar its team already uses, and so that time already blocked on that calendar is not offered to customers. When a business does this, ForgeHome accesses the following through the provider's API, with the business's explicit authorization:

  • The list of calendars on the connected account, so the business can choose which one to link to each team member.
  • Free/busy information and event times on the calendars the business selects, used only to avoid offering appointment times that are already taken.
  • Creating, updating and removing events that represent ForgeHome appointments on the calendars the business selects. If the business moves such an event on its calendar, ForgeHome updates the appointment to match and notifies the customer.

We use this data solely to provide the calendar feature the business asked for. We do not read the content of events that ForgeHome did not create beyond the times they occupy, we do not use calendar data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with third parties except the service providers that host and operate ForgeHome. ForgeHome's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Access tokens for connected calendars are stored encrypted. A business can disconnect a calendar at any time from its ForgeHome settings, which stops all synchronization and deletes the stored tokens; it can also revoke ForgeHome's access from its Google Account permissions page. Calendar data that has been synchronized (appointment times) is retained as part of the business's appointment records under section 7.

Text messages. If you tick the box on a booking form agreeing to be texted, the business you booked with may send you transactional text messages about that booking: confirmation, reminders, technician arrival updates, and — where an invoice results from the visit — the invoice, payment reminders and receipts. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to end all such messages from that business; reply START to resume. We never use this permission for marketing.
